Catherine Bals – Head of Reputation & Sustainability – Proximus

Before joining Proximus, the leading Belgian telecom operator, Catherine was active for over 15 years in the international telecommunication sector where she translated company goals into a strategic vision and action plans to guarantee a future proof positioning, creating bottom line value and building a solid corporate brand & reputation. At Proximus, she was first responsible for the corporate communication of the consumer and customer operations business unit before coordinating and implementing the strategic transformation of customer service. More recently she took on the challenge of heading the sustainability program and building the future reputation of Proximus. Where customer centricity and delivering added value are still key, in her current position her focus is on the societal role. Hence fulfilling the needs of the Belgian society and that in a sustainable way to ensure we do not only think about today but also about tomorrow!
